Misty R. Price, CPA

Misty R. Price, CPA, is the owner of a CPA firm in Hernando County, where she has been serving the community for over two decades. A lifelong resident of the area, Misty is a graduate of Hernando High School and holds an Associate of Arts from Pasco-Hernando State College, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of South Florida, a Master of Accountancy from Auburn University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida.

With a diverse background in the accounting field, Misty brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to her practice. Her expertise spans financial statement compilations, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, nonprofit accounting, and both individual and corporate income tax preparation. She is also highly proficient in payroll and sales tax filings, as well as 1099 vendor reporting. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, including staff accountant, accounting manager, and audit/tax manager.

Outside the office, Misty cherishes time with her family, especially enjoying trips to Disney World. She is an avid runner who has completed numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, half-marathons, and full marathons. She also proudly embraces her role as a dance mom to her daughter, Hannah.
